20 th IGP Inter School Football Running Trophy
Nepal Police School 'A', Sanga beat Sainaik Asiwaya Mahavidhalaya, Bhaktapur 1-0 to win 19th Inter-School IGP Football Running Trophy 2068. Bikrant Nar Singh Rana of NPS "A", Sanga was the "Man of the Match". Nepal Police School 'A' was awarded trophy and cash prize of Rs 20,000 whereas the runner-up (Sainaik School,Bhaktapur) was awarded a trophy and cash prize of Rs 10,000.
20th Inter-School IGP Football Running Trophy 2068 was inaugurated by Chairman of School Management Committee and AIGP Prakash Kunwar on 28th of Mangsir 2068. NPS A, Sanga beat Sangrila Public School, Kathmandu by 2-0 in the inaugural match. Also Baylor International School, Banepa and Emanuel School, Dhulikhel played goalless draw on the same day. NPS Principal Dr. Nawarath Baniya gave away welcome speech before kick off.
South-Asian Cadet Judo Championship
NPS students won 2 silver and 1 bronze in South-Asian Cadet Judo Championship. Milan Sumsher Thapa, Grade X, defeated Indian Competitor to win a silver. Likewisely Krishna Gharti Magar, Grade VIII, defeated a Bangladeshi opponent. Mahesh Tamang of Grade X won the bronze. Hosts Nepal, Bangladesh and India participated in the four-day event, organised by the International Judo Federation's Judo For Peace Commission.
19th IGP Running Trophy
Nepal Police School 'A', Sanga beat Nepal Police School, Belchautara 4-3 in a penalty shoot-out to win 19th Inter-School IGP Football Running Trophy 2067 after an absorbing 1-1 draw. Suman Thapa of NPS, Belchautara was the "Man of the Match". Nepal Police School 'A' was awarded trophy and cash prize of Rs 20,000 whereas the runner-up was awarded a trophy and cash prize of Rs 10,000.

It is an honour and a privilege to be the Principal of Nepal Police Higher Secondary Boarding School (NPHSBS), Sanga. The school that stands for excellence and continuously sets the highest standards of education in the nation. NPHSBS has originally been initiated to cater to the wards of the Nepal Police Personnel, however within the span of 28 years, it’s been successful in nurturing about equal number of civilian child as well. Beginning with primary classes since 1983, NPS has reached the heights of Higher Secondary Level with total of 266 girls and 1031 boys.
The hope of every nation is its children. Our school is playing pivotal role in guiding young people to become productive citizens. We keep our student at the core of school policy to equip with skills, confidence and a positive approach in desirable discipline to have an all round development. NPHSBS fosters an atmosphere of trust, love and respect for each person as the basis for sound education. Being residential school, we at our school realize the importance of crucial phase in the life of a child and provide each child with opportunities and activities to achieve the aim.
Our effort is focused not only on pure study but also on providing opportunity to each child to explore his or her own capabilities and area of interest in beautiful school premises with full sets of extra curricular activities to help the child become the best person he or she can be.
I am very fortunate to have an experienced and committed teaching team, supporting administrative family which has brought the school to its present stature. I always, with members of our school staffs putting our level best to up lift the standards of school and students in deed.
