We feel proud of Soft Tennis Team (NPS) participated in 5th National Games held between 24th - 29th of Chaitra 2065 B.S. Twelve players via Nepal Police Force took part in the National Games with great enthusiasm. Young players had really excellent performance as a result Susma Karki travelled up to Quarter Finals in Women's Singles as well as in Doubles with her partner Kripa. Similarly, Rabina Basnet & Samriddhi Rimal in Women's Doubles competed in Quarter Finals.
Nepal Police Force was awarded with the 'Best Disciplined Team' title. The most exciting and interesting part of the tournament was Men's Singles Final. In the final, Dy. S.P. Ashok Singh, who got victory comfortably in Quarter Final match with (4-1), had tough competition with the opponent Sanjaya Nepal. Though Nepal was leading with 3-1, Mr. Singh, Commandant of Nepal Police School didn’t lose his confidence. Almighty impressed hard working, self-confident, patience and determination of Mr. Singh so that the most valuable award, Gold Medal of Men's Singles event went to the part of Dy S.P. Ashok Singh. In the history of Nepal Police Sports ever, this is the first time, Gold Medal won by any senior police officer of Dy.S.P. Rank.
